These are cover art concepts I made for Jennifer Doudna's lab for a paper on CRISPR.

CRISPR-Cas9 inserts the viral DNA from attacking viruses to its own genome as a form of immunity. I represented the idea of a record of past viral attacks with a specimen label. New viral DNA is inserted after the cruciform structures.
